Yeah, I think they did three interview weekends last month, with about 5 candidates at each one. I'm not sure what to make of their system; it seems like people in previous years have been rejected as early as February but accepted as late as June (I guess from the waitlist). The problem is that other programs want responses as soon as possible, and I feel really bad holding out on them. Good luck to you too - as long as you've got something else that you're excited about lined up, it seems like there's no point in any of us stressing for the next god-knows-how-long...

All is silence after the interview weekend - I even had an email exchange with a potential adviser, but no hint as to whether or not they would make decisions soon. I think they may actually be waiting until early April. Hubris? Yes. Would I still accept if I got an offer on April 14? Couldn't say. If they're assuming that we'll automatically accept, without an admitted students weekend or anything to get to know them, that's kind of off-putting. However, I'm pretty sure I won't have that decision to make given how the interview went...
