Finally they send the rejection.....though no surprises....really looks like their take the trash out day...look at the result search .....i saw ten rejection posts within a minute and still counting (of course including mine )

Just give me my damn rejection....no surprises i guess now.. :x

Anybody got any notification on admission......I saw a acceptance mail for ECE PhD in results page.....seems they have started sending decisions...a lot of acceptance/rejection mails are there from other dept too in last 2-3 days

I am looking into wireless....I am not sure whether being on waiting list is good news.....maybe my application confused them more than me.....probably realization will dawn upon them soon ....till then no option but to wait Regards

When did you two submit your application? I submitted mine on 11th december, just a few days before deadline....They might be making batches based on the when you had submitted your application (FCFS) ....that may clear a few things why we are still waiting...

You can probably mail the Student Affair Officer for CS Dept in the Graduate Admission and Academic Services in Graduate Office. I got the notification mail from her. Her e-mail id is present in contact us section of the graduate studies website. If you want to inquire in the CS dept the graduate coordinator and advisor is on leave. So you have to contact the "Undergraduate and Graduate Program Support"

Can you tell me how much aid was offered?

I am a PhD applicant in CS dept to UT-Arlington....Can anybody say how much time do they take to reach or inform of a decision after your application is send for review with grad advisor......I had applied on 19th December.....those #%@%^ took more than two months for pre-processing of my application :evil: ...My application was sent to the graduate advisor of CS dept for review on 2nd March itself.....Am wondering whether I will get a decision this quarter itself or not :?:

Has anybody else got a reply from UCDavis? Are they offering any sort of financial support?

Got a reply from the ECE dept..."The faculty are currently reviewing the application files online. Hopefully you will receive an email by late March notifying you of a decision." All the best..

I got an e-mail on 12th saying a decision has been made and will be available from 15th onwards. But I was anyway able to view the message on embark from 13th onwards. The e-mail was from the grad office. Guess they will be sending the rest of the decisions by till end of the month. You will be probably hearing from them within the next 10 days.

I got a admission offer for PhD in CS from UCDavis. I contacted the grad advisor regarding financial support. Got a reply "At this point, however, we cannot guarantee you financial support and cannot anticipate whether it will be possible later in the process.". Has anybody got a similar offer or I missed out on financial support . Do the university offer any support after admission.
