  1. What kind of Fulbright program are you in? Fulbright teacher teaching overseas and conducting a project or a just Fulbright exchange student? I could give you more info depending on the category you fall into. What does ETA mean by the way. If you go to a country thanks to the Fulbright program, your actions may be monitored since your local Fulbright advisor has to sign your DS 2019 whenever you want to go out of the host country, unless you will not need a visa to go to China and Hong Kong.
  2. Yes, it is the same program we applied to, the MAIR. I submitted my application on September 9th, 2011 and so far no news about it. When I check with them, they say they reviewed my application, just there is no decision yet. Do you know somebody else who applied to the school and got accepted or rejected? I want to know if they have also started notifying applicants who were not admitted.
  3. Is there anybody out here who has applied to Maxwell School International Relations and Diplomacy Masters program at Syracuse University? Has anybody applied for the Fall 2012 admission and been already notified of their admission status? The school said they would start reviewing applications after mid-January and notify applicants weekly afterward, but so far nothing from them. I applied to the school, submitted my application in September, but still haven't heard anything from them regarding my application status. I actually checked with the school and I was told that my application was submitted for review three weeks ago, but there is no decision yet for me. What does that mean? Am I admitted? Rejected? Is there anybody who is also in the same case or who has been alreaady notified? I am worried :'( and sad about my application.
  4. It depends on the school. Some school will email you right away to notify you of your admission status and later send you a mail for confirmation. Other schools only contact admitted students via email and or/mail and do not contact rejected students. To the best of my knowledge, I do not think schools will ever call you regarding your admission status. It's either via email and/or mail and some only contact admitted students while others contact you either way through the same way. I am in the same case than you and I am still waiting to hear from my school regarding my application status. Wish you good luck on waiting!
