Got the dreaded link to the Columbia rejection today.

When I called last week the man I spoke with told me that they weren't through with the decision process. That being said, maybe he was only being polite and they just plan on sending rejections. I really hope that's not the case, even though I knew it was a long shot.

LSU has already started notifying their PhD applicants, so hopefully it won't be much longer before you hear about the MA

I called admissions today as well and the very polite gentleman informed they were not finished making decisions and that everyone would officially be notified by the end of the month. I'm not giving up hope yet as I have seen both acceptances and rejections from Columbia on this site, so it doesn't seem as though they have only notified accepted students.

If I haven't heard back from Columbia yet, should I assume that's a no? That seems to be the general consensus.

Has anybody else been accepted to LSU's History program? I just heard back (got in) and now I'm waiting for two more schools but I think this may be the best fit. How about you?
