I turned down U of F's offer today - I hope it helps someone out here!

This is not technically an "American Studies" program, but some posters here may have applied to it as well: Has anyone heard anything from Stony Brook's Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature program? I'm getting sort of antsy about it, and didn't know if anyone had contacted them.

Figuredso, I just posted to the Results Board after posting, so I think at the moment, I'm the second acceptance on there.

I got a call from Dr. Wegner today which I unfortunately missed. In his message (and his follow-up email), he said he was about to leave for Spring Break, so he'd be out of touch for the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to chatting with him sometime next week whenever I get the chance. Congrats to those who have received calls/emails! I will be on the postcolonial track, by the way.

Have you received any sort of schedule yet? I'm curious as to what they're going to have planned for the day and a half.

For any Purdue American Study admittees - are you going to the visitation event on Feb. 23rd and 24th? I'm planning to go and am wondering if anyone else was making similar plans.

I've seen a couple other acceptances on the results page for Arizona State's Lit PhD. I just received my acceptance via email, but the link to the actual admittance letter is broken. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm assuming it's a generic acceptance letter, but I'm curious anyway!
