Does anyone know of any apartments that one should avoid? I'm looking for something that is not an undergrad part palace.

Hello everyone. I have a few questions about the College Station area. First of all, when looking for housing, are there any areas or streets to avoid? I'm looking for something fairly quiet. I don't want to live in an undergrad party palace. I've had enough of that. Well actually that seems like the only question I can think of at the moment. Any help will be much appreciated!!

I still haven't heard back from 6 out of 7. I'm doing my best to stay patient, but honestly it's really hard to do so when everyone I know has already heard back from their schools..

Received my first rejection today. I was expecting it, but it was stomach retching to get it. I hope I get some good news soon.

It would be nice to hear something this week, but I'm not going to count on it.

Final few days of February are among us. I didn't think it would ever end.. Hope I hear something within the next few days, even if it's a rejection.

I haven't heard back from any school yet... I've already lost my mind

I won't bother filling out everything, but my GPA is fairly average, my GRE scores were decent, and I got excellent LoRs. I will receive my BS in Professional Meteorology from a state school this May! I applied to SUNY at Albany, University of Hawaii at Manoa, University of Miami RSMAS, North Carolina State University, Florida State University, Colorado State, and Texas A&M. My number one choice is SUNY at Albany. I had a nice email conversation with a prof. there and I am really interested in her research. Number two would be RSMAS. My research interests are mainly within tropical meteorology, especially tropical cyclones. I haven't heard anything back from anywhere. It's making me panic more than I should.
