Hey all, Anyone else apply to Spain? Their website says that they would make their decisions before April 1... we're getting awfully close to that date. Eek! I am so distracted by waiting to hear about this!

You can still qualify for a private student loan consolidation, but as far as I've found, there are only variable rates available. The firms that were doing both variable and fixed rate consolidation loans are now either not doing consolidations or only variable rates. Too bad.

just thought I'd mention that my friend who applied to a fulbright in Denmark found out she got one... I think she got an unofficial letter from the people in Denmark a couple weeks ago. I'm still waiting to hear about Spain.
