Any news on funding? I'm in IR.

Thanks for the responses! I'm planning on waiting for UVA's funding details to make the final decision. I wonder what is taking them so long. Has anyone already heard from them?

Yes, but no details yet. I have heard that they aren't generous regarding funding.

Haven't seen much discussion about studying IR at UVA or Minnesota. They are my only options left. Considering faculty, funding, placement, and environment, where would you go? My interest is IR in general but leaning more toward IPE than security. Intend to pursue an academic career. Posters mentioned John Freeman at Minnesota but also the bad weather. Funding from UVA tends to be limited. Threads discussing the IR sub-discipline at UVA are scarce. I've already posted this question at the poliscijobrumor, but I would like to seek some advice here as well. Thanks!
