I went to an interview for a counseling psych program on monday. they told me that they would hold a meeting on thursday to go over applicants and make a decision. they said they will notify us by phone no later than end of next week. so my status changed on thursday (became decision mailed). im guessing my status change is so fast because either 1) they absolutely ruled me out and don't want me OR 2) they absolutely love me and know they want me for sure. am i being logical? or there is no pattern or anything. also if they have the time to change the status and mail the results the day they decided, does it mean they have to time to phone applicants that day too? or no? do you think it's more likely that i got accepted or that i got rejected?

I was notified of an interview the day the application was due. I turned my app 2 months early. They told me I'm invited to group interview on March 6 ( I didn't have any other date choices). Today when I went I found out they had conducted group interviews 2 weeks ago. Each group (this week and two weeks ago) 20 ppl were invited. Does it matter if I was invited at a later date? Does it mean anything? How do schools choose which people go together as groups? Thanks.

I went for an interview for a school psychology ed.s programs. Today I got an email saying that I'm in. Is that weird? Does that mean that not that much people apply there? Or does it mean that before they interviewed me they were pretty ok with me already? It's really hard determining the how good a school psych program is relative to another because there are no rankings or much info about the program online.
