  1. So I am grappling with this decision about which grad school I am going to go to. I am pursuing a masters degree in higher ed/student affairs and so far I have 3 acceptances. I got accepted to UCLA, PENN & Syracuse. PENN is offering me some funding but its still super expensive. UCLA is offering me no money but it is still cheaper to go there than to go to PENN. Syracuse is offering me full funding with a grad assistantship. So should I go to the school that is funding me or the school I am in love with? It would be amazing to go to PENN but I am so nervous about the debt... HELP!
  2. That's awesome! Congrats! Have you decided whether or not you are going?
  3. Are you on the accepted students facebook page for penn gse?
  4. The prestige of the school is awesome and I know it will be an amazing experience but I don't know if that means I will get better job offers than if I go to an unranked school or a UC. If the program will allow me an easy transition to the PhD program then might as well but if I dont have a shot of getting my PhD there right after then I am not sure.
  5. Is it for a doctoral program or a masters program? I got accepted to the Student Affairs master's program almost a month ago.
  6. I am applying to masters programs now and I am planning to do a 1 year program at UCLA or PENN (I was accepted to both). I really want to apply to USC's urban education doctorate program when I'm done. Can we keep in touch so I can check in with you about the program and potentially get tips for my future application?
  7. I just got accepted to Penn and they are giving me a $10,000 scholarship. But considering that tuition is nearly $45,000 I am really hesitant to take out $35,000 of loans to pay for grad school. Its a little steep for my taste. Anyone know if Penn will be worth the investment?
