Fantastic! that' so great to hear. Did you get an application package/financial aid offer I guessing? I haven't heard about what money will be offered through the school.
dont know much about the program. but the campus and clinton hill (brooklyn) is amazing. if you are looking for a place to live, you should check out areas of bedstuy. it's really getting to be a fun area. it's a lot cheaper than clinton hill, and it's really close to pratt.
For what it's worth, I've been living in New York City for the past 4 years. It's incredibly difficult and expensive, but living here has enormous benefits. It is probably the best art education I've gained in my career.
I don't know enough about the schools to offer direct advice. It just depends what environment you would like to be in.
Had an amazing experience with Hunter:
Double checked my application status on their site only to see my transcripts were never received. After trying to get ahold of the grad dept. offices all day, I finally spoke with someone who told me it would only make a difference if I became a finalist. Big relief. Then checking my email at the end of the day, I had a rejection from Hunter. Is this foul play?
