Hi lalakey -- i was a finalist but did not receive the award when I applied a few years ago. :-/ Hoping for a different outcome this time, but I definitely feel you.

Trying not to be terribly insensitive, but do you guys know if "No" answers go out first? I am still waiting to hear from Germany.

German ETA folks -- did you receive an email regarding regional preference this year? I was recommended but did not receive any sort of email requesting regional preference, I simply assumed the process had changed. Can someone confirm?

Ah yes, the waiting has become painful. I'm curious, does anyone know why the ask for our transcripts again. Is it just to validate our graduation? I assume they have already ranked and sent out our recommendations long before they receive our transcripts in NYC.

Did anyone applying for the Germany ETA hear confirmation after sending in their transcripts and supplemental application materials?
