Anyone have any ideaof when we're supposed to be hearing today?

Just looked at the 2011 admissions brochure for Columbia and here are a few quick facts: Applications for Full-Time Study 2011-2012 Master of Science Applicants 850 Admits 396 Expected to Enroll 258 Didn't find any admissions stats on the NYU website, so it's hard to compare.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what acceptance rates are like for journalism programs? Also, is there a ranked list of schools? Still waiting on Columbia (like everyone else), but I wish schools would publish admissions statistics so I have an some idea of their ideal candidate.

I applied for the magazine concentration. Got a call from the program director yesterday with an email later that evening.

I got the same email. Don't want to read too much into it, but I was excited to get it!
