Hi there, I received fellowships from top universities and have sent my POI at another top university an updated resume with the fellowships. I can't update my application folder, though. So it is OK if I did that as I fear he would consider he being one of my options? Will it have a positive impact on my application from the updated resume sent to him? Thanks

@Bryc, was the interview for PhD or MS? I heard from Brittany that the admission committee started reviewing the PhD applications from last week. I am confused as it would be too soon for the interviews :/

I have applied to Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Many decisions have already been sent out. I talked with the graduate admission assistant and she told me that few more would be sent. So worried Do you guys suggest me to call the graduate admission chair since my POIs told me that they had no control over my acceptances? So torturing :/

Hey guys, I saw few posts on this forum that my top choice universities have sent out acceptances. I called a graduate coordinator and she told me that still few more are to be sent out. I asked her whether I was wait-listed but wasn't. Also she told me that all decisions will be made by the end of this Feb. BTW, I applied to Mechanical/ Aerospace PhD. Do you guys think that I still have a shot to be admitted later since those schools are my top choices?

Go where you fit best! Both are great schools, though. Your future employers won't care where you came from but what you learnt during your graduate studies. AMEN! -
Guys, I saw a series of Cornell Decisions for the PhD admission on Feb 10th? I was wondering if the day was THE DAY when they sent out all the decisions. Anyone waiting for the decision? Is there still a chance to hear a positive result? Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your replies guys. I see that lots of Cornell decisions have been made in a day in Mechanical. I was wondering if that's the rejection case for me.

I am waiting for my PhD decisions from UT-Austin, UM-TC, UM CP in Aerospace and Stanford, Cornell, UIUC, Northwestern and Brown in Mechanical. Has anyone been informed about their decisions to these universities? I am getting nervous Shall I contact my POIs or wait? Thanks a Million!!

Will he accept new MS students and if you know how many per year? Two days ago, I emailed him but could not get any reply. Also, Dr. Sung Lee told me that application can not be forwarded until someone from the department sponsors for me ....I have sent you reply and with my credential, do you think I will get in there? Also, how many students get funded at UMCL?

Thank you dude. I keep my word. So, is it OK to reapply for MS MIT or do MS in Purdue/ Ga tech and then applying to MIT PhD would be better? Also, did you add me on fb since i have some people adding me? thanks again. my SOP was original but long. 3 pages

I am sorry dude. Same pinch. I am also from a moderate family. I wonder if Gatech and Purdue funds me for MS. Can you share me your profile; ur undergrad school, GPA, GRE, TOEFL, RESEARCH WORKS and others like awards etc. Best of Luck dude

I am sure Gatech students can challenge MIT students. it is you not the college which defines success n excellence in your field. not all mitians are world famous...so b positive guys...Gatech n Purdue are in par to MIT or Stanford or caltech. also, employers choose purdue over mit nowadays n purdue has a great history with it. Though Gatech ranking is higher slightly than purdue, i will go to purdue coz everything is fine there. Neil Arm Strong hall of engineering is no less than MIT
