Since I am an Adjunct at a local community college, I dont wear shoes in class and the students are horrified. My response...fashion is bourgeois, do your reading and lets start a revolution. It succeeded.

I did my first year of masters in art history at Hunter (I was in an exchange program from France). I only took classes in modern/contemporary but I have met some professor in Renaissance/Baroque and only heard good things about them, and any teacher at Hunter actually. The program is very rich and offers a lot of possibilities. The fact that a lot of classes are mixed MA/MFAs is also very nice and leads to very interesting classes. The location is obviously great, the building is fine and they were still working on renewing the library this summer.
