I took time off for 1 yr after graduating and applied this year and was not disqualified (or did not get a notification I was, when others did in Feb.). So again I think it depends on how closely your reviewers stick to the "rules." It seems like it's worth a shot to apply in your 2nd year just incase.

yeah, it's been like that since i submitted my application actually.

i actually called them today (couldn't help myself) and the guy frustratedly said, "early april." so i don't think notifications will come anytime before april 1, sadly...

my guess is next fri...

FYI for those who are also waiting for NDSEG... their website now states that the results will be released on monday march 30.
