I'm yet another one of those Waitlist kids! I was wait listed at my #1 PhD program choice, am currently #2 on the list and expecting to hear by "mid April". I just hope that if at least 2 people decline the offer the program doesn't just redistributed the funding to the other admitted applicants. Thoughts?

I applied to PhD programs at Rutgers, SUNY Albany, UPenn, and UC Irvine. I was rejected from Albany, wait-listed at UCI, and waiting to hear from the other two. -
