  1. I have a similar story: coming straight out of undergrad and from Economics background. Thing is, 3 years ago I applied to US for undergrad and was rejected by all schools. Pretty devastated. Have set my heart on going to US for as long as I can remember. Although most public policy programs say they admit less than 10% of the applicants from undergrad, who knows, you can be the one! I must stress that the biggest difference to my application now compared to 3 years ago is the personal statement. If you have a great profile but cannot communicate it, it's the biggest pity. This is my final result: Accepted: Georgetown MPP, Duke MPP, Austin Texas MPAff, UChicago MPP, Stanford IPS, UMichigan MPP Rejected: George Washington MPA, Princeton, Harvard MPP
  2. My wait is coming to an end soon. Waiting to hear from Stanford IPS and UMich Ford School. Up until now, I get into LBJ($$), Duke Sanford($), Harris($), and GPPI (TBD). Out at Princeton and Harvard. But given that I'm an international student straight out of undergrad with no work experience, I don't think I can ask for much more!!! In fact, I'm coming to UChicago to be with my boyfriend of 2 years. Our long-distance relationship has finally come to an end hurray!!!
  3. I'm an international student too...Sigh...Did you just receive the email?
  4. From this moment onwards I'm gonna panic!!! Chicago Harris MPP is my first choice:(
  5. Hi everyone, If I still do not hear from GW' MPA program and GPPI's MPP (although I submitted my application in late December), does it mean rejections from both? Thanks so much in advance.
