I got my official letter via e-mail about an hour ago; it says we have 21 days from receiving the offer to accept/decline. I accepted - Global Political Economy cluster. Don't give up hope, though; I have a feeling a lot of people decline because of the school's (rather paltry) funding options. Anyways, good luck on the wait list!

Ah, poor choice of words - my bad. I meant advisor in a much less rigid sense; I was referring to the professor I was told to e-mail about funding, etc. And I'm sorry for summoning the doom! Maybe we should all go outside, turn around three times and spit to ward off the doom...

Haven't received my official offer yet - I e-mailed my advisor about it, and he said it would take 1-2 weeks. Got my e-mail on Monday, so I guess I'll start expecting the offer at the beginning of this coming week. And I would volunteer to make the group except - and this is going to sound a little odd - but I feel like if I make the group myself, I'll incur the wrath from high atop the thing and not get admitted by the FGPA! Anyone feeling more confident want to do it?

I'm so glad someone else posted this; I'm only being offered $5000 for first year. I wasn't expecting buckets of money, but really?! The decision is made tough, though, since it's such a good school. Is it possible for funding to change, as people accept/reject?

Looks like my complaining was the straw that broke NPSIA's back - I also got the acceptance e-mail, too, which is exciting.

This NPSIA wait is killing me. It's my no. 1 choice, but it's getting difficult to plan without knowing!

Noticed in the survey that someone got rejected from NPSIA. I wasn't really worrying about it because their website said they wouldn't start considering applications until the 15th, but now I'm on edge. Any information from people who have had correspondence with the school?
