I would guess yes, that we need our own listing. Because life sciences definitely doesn't fall under physical science (generally chemistry and physics), and if you go by the wikipedia definition of applied science it doesn't fit there either. So I'd lobby for a new listing, but I don't know how many of us are actually here.

I'm new here, so I might be missing something obvious, but is there an area for biomedical/biological science programs? I've applied for umbrella programs that include Microbiology. Thanks, crazypumpkin
