QM and Econ. Since I've only done intro to micro, I don't feel too bad about going.

Just signed up. Interface is easy enough.

I did plan on bringing a car. I'll either look for close "public" parking, or eat the cost of a parking permit.

Damn, I didn't realize it was so difficult to get off the female wait-list. It might be easier to move in second year? Or find a more suitable place off-campus.

But my other friend who got his offer two weeks ago already knew his roommate within a day or two. When did you sign up to move in?

When you are given a housing offer, it's for a specific room, so they don't take long to set you up with your roommmate (who presumably already lives there). I only got my offer at about 11:15, so I haven't heard much yet.

July 27. It looks like they give you notice 2 months prior. (My friend got his notification exactly 2 months prior as well.)

And I'm definitely antsy, too. Work is like purgatory...

Yeah, at the admit day, they gave us a schedule of the classes we can take. Most of them have two sections. I'll have to take a look at that when I get home from work.

Woah, you cheater, how did you get classes? =o Also, housing is going through the motions. My friend already got placement in one hall. I think they wait until exactly 60 days prior to your desired move-in to contact you.

If you TA, I think that would solve a lot of the problems. The financial benefit from the fee remission is ridiculously good.

It could be even worse, actually. Brown's budget factored in a significant boost in revenue from the Facebook IPO, which has so far under-performed and could cause a serious shortage in the State's revenue.

We can make our email addresses now. Too bad it requires a client server.

My friend and I who both got in looked into this: getting on-campus housing with someone you know sounds impossible. They very rarely get a whole apartment up for grabs, and try to plug people into singles. It would take too long to get placement.

I feel torn about what laptop I need to get, because like you, I have a PC gaming laptop (that's almost 3 years old), and I feel like it would be silly to get a new gaming laptop for class use.

I hadn't even noticed Single Grad. The price definitely seems right for it, but you're sharing with three others as opposed to one. (Though 417 with all utilities included is beyond fantastic.)

I put Rita as my #1, One Miramar as #2, and Mesa as #3. I was primarily concerned with cost/location. Rita got my #1 because the apartments are pre-furnished and I would very much like not to have to spend the money on new furniture if I don't have to.

Yeah, I'll be at prep as well. I just put my name on the waiting list for about the time prep begins, so hopefully there wouldn't be any need to find interim housing.
