Mine too! A week after the first email.

For those who are still waiting, any news?

@hoo I agree it is a terrifying email as it puts you into a limbo of thinking "I got funding" but not being able to be sure that you actually got funding. Has anyone heard of anyone not getting funded after receiving this email?

I just received what looks like the "stand by for cash" email and I think I might throw up.

Did the email ask if you had received any other funding or just a clarification on your budget? I think this is a good sign either way, but in the past, WG has sent out emails asking (potentially successful) applicants if they have received other funding before the official offer. I don' think this a guaranteed but it looks like it is good sign from past funding cycles. Has anyone else received a funding or budget email?

For my fellow applicants who will be resubmitting, has anyone received their reviews yet (cultural anthropology or other programs)? Strange that they are releasing them only to the faculty members this year...

Just received notice that I did not receive an award (official letter and reviews to come). Good luck to all those still waiting!

I agree Kexin that it is strange that no one has heard of any rejections. I wonder if it means that there really has not been any rejections sent out yet, or those who have been rejected know already and have stopped checking grad cafe. The waiting is already driving me crazy, so if it is until July I might just explode

They have been updating the list of scheduled panels as the days pass. So it is possible there was a review panel scheduled for April 12th that has been removed since it is in the past. You applied to a different program than cultural anthropology, yes?

Thanks Celeste Stein for the information. I am just so curious if they have sent out any rejections--or in other words, do I have any reason to be hopeful that I made it past the first round of rejections if my review panel was at the end of March, or are they just waiting to send them all out at once?

I don't know when their review panel met unfortunately.

The waiting is driving me a little batty this year. Heard another of another person who got a yes email (cult anth) but still no word for me. Trying to figure out if any rejections have been sent out--anyone have any info?

I have heard of one person hearing back (funded) in cultural anthropology. Any others?
