  1. Hi everyone, I am going to be graduating with my undergraduate degree pretty soon, and will be transitioning into a masters program. So far, I have gotten accepted to Azusa Pacific (MA Clinical Psychology, empathsis in marriage and family therapy), San Francisco State (MFT), and awaiting Chapman (MFT). I have done my research and know the logisitics of the programs. However, have any of you heard or been in any of them? I am so torn between all three, and would love to hear some input! Thank you

  3. Hello everyone, I am torn between two programs for counseling: Azusa Pacific (accepted) and Chapman (Although I have not gotten an official word yet, I do think I have a strong chance of acceptance). Although I do know the logistical facts of both schools, I am trying to find out more. I have been told that both are great programs, but not much else about the program's reputations. Can anybody shed me some insight about what you heard about either one of the programs? Thank you
  4. Hey everybody, I am currently looking into schools for my masters in counseling psychology. For those schools that require you take the GRE, it states that they look at the writing scores. Does this mean I can only just take one section of the GRE, or would I have to take the verbal, math, and writing portions? Thank you!
  5. Thank you both for the advice- so helpful! I have a serious boyfriend and it is very likely that I will need to move out of state (he is in the military and does not know where he will be stationed yet). Our goal is to move back to California eventually, and I didn't want to have to put my education on hold. If I comprehended everything correctly, I can obtain my MSW in any state I would like? And I just need to have my post- licensure hours in California?
  6. Hey everyone! I am currently a junior double majoring in psychology and sociology, and planning to apply for a MSW for graduate schools. I'm interested in military social work; however the only school that has a military social work concention in California is USC (and I'm really unsure if I am willing to be THAT much in debt). The schools that include a military social work programs are mainly out of state. I want to eventually live back in California. Does anybody have some insight as how I may be able to do this (I know states have different rules). Or if I would only be able to go to USC for the program? I have spent hours trying to find an answer without any luck. Any insight or suggestions would be much appreciated!
