I heard two tops applicants from the University of Washington both just took offers at Maryland. They do offer one of the most attractive stipends around... and really productive people there in OB too

Hey all, I started interviews at the end of January (phone int. with three profs from UNC). I applied to 11 schools in total and have only gotten an offer at Minnesota for their OB PhD program, although I haven't accepted the offer. I flew out to Florida about a week and a half ago and am in their top 3 now. Most offers have been given out, and you should just contact the PhD program coordinator to see if you made their short list (top 7-10 people), and where you stand in it. Good luck!

Hi cardnav, I just got accepted into the Management OB PhD program, so we could very well be down the hall from one another. I live in Seattle, WA and am still waiting to hear back from a few programs around the U.S. Seems that in this economy, everyone wants to stay in schools, but schools are especially limited in giving out offers to potential applicants. I think we'll be seeing an interesting job market in five years when we graduate. ---- Accepted: 1 Waiting: 4 Rejected: 6
