Same here man. Was promoted for Jamaica too. Do you know if folks have set up a facebook group?

Update. I was promoted from Alternate to principle for JAMAICA... Was notified of alternate status on May 9th......Just the call then email today of my promotion.... Public Health research.

Hello Caribbean folks.... Spoke to Pam a few moments ago (1500hrs) and was told the following: The wait from the FSB is unusual this year, they are still waiting on decisions to be made, and we should have an answer soon. I thanked her for being so thoughtful and understanding. She did not promise a date; however, she did say that we should hear soon (very soon)…. I guess we are some of the few regions that are still left in limbo….

News is coming this week you guys. Good or bad, just remember all of your hard work means something.......

I applied to Jamaica too... Have not heard anything yet from Fulbright...

Found out today that the Caribbean commission haven't made a decision yet... I guess the wait continues for the next several weeks....

Still awaiting to hear from Jamaica
