    Please help me 1. I applied to Ph.D. program at U of Michigan-Ann Arbor, UT-Austin and U of Wisconsin-Madison, but I haven't heard back yet. Has anyone here applied to these universities? 2. I was admitted to UCSD and Purdue (in MSE Ph.D. program). Which one is better regarding research activities and academic reputation?
