Yup, I talked to her. That's why I love Arizona. Sure, they take life (and the admission process) at a slower pace than those of us in the east and midwest, but they are gracious about questions and contact. I would not hesitate to contact Ms. Marma or anyone at U of A if it would make you feel better.

The selection committee is meeting again this week. Don't know anything else, but that should inspire some hope (and the fact someone was accepted with TAship April 2)

Anyone have any info on U of A's literature Phd status? There are two admits on the board, one a phone call and one a webpage status change. I've heard nothing and my status on the webpage is still just "received." I emailed the administrative assistant and got a very vague response about the committee being delayed and phone calls being delayed. Anyone know anything?
