I caved and emailed Jermaine about when the notifications for Near East/North Africa will be going out and this is what he said: " I know that my U.S. State Department colleagues are hammering out some final (?) budget details now, so hopefully will be able to “green light” the notifications being sent out relatively soon. I'm a finalist for ETA in Oman.

First time poster/long time lurker, I recently received an email which said they need two of my passport pictures and a copy of the photo page of my passport in order to get a visa started. However, the email also stated that this request does make it definite that I have received the grant. I sent in everything they requested but have yet to hear a final decision. Anyone else get a similar request?
