Same here - wait list and pre-approved IRDF. I took a quick look at the list of organizations for IRDF and it does not look promising. This is pretty rough. Can someone remind me, why would anyone turn down a PDF? And what are the chances?

You sound like a very deserving candidate! I don't understand this. I haven't heard back from NSERC yet, but I'm finding it hard to be hopeful. Has anyone from Toronto heard about their NSERC PDF?
