For anyone next year who visits this forum, let week on July 17th, I was promoted from an alternate to a principal candidate for the Montenegro ETA! The date that I was originally notified was 3 months earlier. Good luck to all of the applicants for next year!

AFX^79- I'm also thinking of reapplying and I'm hoping to have even more people help me with my essays this time. I'm also looking into some volunteer opportunities right now that I know would strengthen my application. Other than that, I'm not quite sure what to rework either!

Congratulations!! That is so exciting. Do you know if the principal candidate for Serbia (there's only one, right?) turned it down, or if there is more funding available now? I'm trying to move on, but still holding out hope to be moved to principal for Montenegro...

Yes! They are so mean. Especially with those "save the date" emails...

I'm an ETA finalist for Montenegro. I haven't seen anyone else who applied for this one position so I'm hoping that means there's only a few of us! It seems like we won't be finding out on acceptances today though...

Were you one of the Bosnian or Serbian applicants? I wonder how accurate Rachel's estimations have been so far. I really need to stop compulsively checking my email today... I hope my boss doesn't know how unproductive I've been!
