    We should be hearing MA decisions by April beginning or sooner. Good luck! I really do not know much about modern Middle Eastern studies at MESAAS, but it looks like a formidable department for it from what I read on the forum.

    Hey! Thanks for writing back. I had written to the department about a week ago asking if a decision was made, but didn't hear back from them. Also, outside this forum, I had met a professor teaching in Kolkata who had told me that a student of theirs had gotten in. This was in late Feb. The student is hoping to work with Persian and Sanskrit (seems like a trend, especially with the sort of work that has been coming out, Audrey Truschke's comes to mind). I am hoping to work on Modern South Asia. Feel free to pm.

    Hey everyone, I have applied to the MA and PhD program at Columbia MESAAS and have not heard from them. Since there are a couple of PhD acceptances on the results page, and a PhD waitlist too, wondering if anyone could claim these results, along with respective sub-disciplines? Also, has anyone heard from the department, or have any information regarding the applications this year? More results should be coming out soon, opening this thread to better collate information.
