Hi Everyone,
I'm considering pursuing an MS in Applied Statistics part-time while working full-time. I have already applied and been accepted to Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (limited due to living/work situation). The actual degree is awarded from Purdue, which I understand is pretty good for stats. However, I'm not sure attending a satellite school will look as good on my resume/CV after graduation. I don't want to do all the work and then be unable to compete with those who attended top ranked schools. Any thoughts on how much weight school carries and how a satellite school is viewed in relation to the main campus? Also--the programs seem to have some similarities but are not identical as one would expect.
Thank you for any input/advice/suggestions!
