    Waitlists

It felt like i was on death row, waiting for the governor to call to and praying to God I would be granted clemency. when the call finally came, i got a stay of execution. I'm joining the game late, but you can add me to the wait list. Got wait listed two days to my first and only choice, seems kind of late, and I was told by the graduate secretary that replies for the first round of admissions would be in by the third week of April and the next round of admissions, (for those on the wait list) will start in early May. I was also told the wait list is not "formally" ranked, probably put this in here so I dont send an email asking about my rank. The email sounded warm and not vague at all, it almost seemed like a last minute chance given to me to wow them into accepting me, and I did my best by sending a reply, stating that I had acquired a further credential that could help my research. dont know if it would help but gave it a try. anyways, to all those sharing my pain, lets hope the governors call and give us all clemency!
  2. congrats to all who got in, I'm wondering, has anyone applying to poli sci at U of T heard anything yet? and another question, did anyone get a waiting list letter when the sgs website still said "under review". Also im curious, what did the acceptance/rejection letters look like for U of T? was it like under grad? small envelope = rejection/waiting list, big envelope = acceptance
  3. What will my acceptance/rejection/waiting list postal package look like? Is it the same as under grad? Big envelope = acceptance, one small slim envelope = rejection/waiting list. Is it the same, is it different for grad school? I know the "depends (school, program, etc)" factor is in play but if anyone has gotten some notices, please tell me what the physical appearance of their notice looked like. The reason i ask is my mailing address is different from my current address, and i dont want the person receiving my mail to know if i got rejected, so instead they will tell me over the phone what my mail looks like and then post it to me after without opening it themselves. Thanks good luck to all!
