I don't have many specifics, but I'm told by the UVM Director of Graduate Studies that the program is very small--as in, no more than 2-3 MA students per year, plus the occasional MAT or certificate student. I'm sorry I can't be of more help! Edit: Forgot to mention--if you're looking at UVM for its MAT program, the Director mentioned that the limit on MAT students is one imposed by the School of Education, due to the difficulty of placing such a student in a local school for his or her practicum. I'm not certain if this indicates a shortage of primary/secondary schools offering Latin in the state as a whole, but it at the very least it's something to keep in mind.
