Contacting Programs after Application Submission

Good luck to everyone during this incredibly anxiety inducing process! Is it appropriate to contact programs that you've applied to already and let them know if you have received a relevant fellowship to the application (either for conducting research abroad over the summer or acceptance into a language program)? Who does one contact with this information?

It's fine to do, but really rather too late at this point.

There is no need. You could contact the Program Coordinator, but it does not seem useful after submission unless your POI or the AdComm requested this information.
