We have launched the portal namely “American Journal of Sonography” (AJS) https://americanjs.com on 1st of February 2018.

 

The American Journal of Sonography is an open access peer-reviewed International journal committed to publishing high-quality articles in the field of Sonography. The journal aims to present most current information in Sonography that is relevant to the current practice of Sonography.

 

Scope:
American Journal of Sonography will have ten categories covering: Basic Science and Instrumentation, General and Abdominal Ultrasound, Ultrasound in Medical Education, Ultrasound Guided Interventions, Vascular Ultrasound, Obstetric/Gynecology, Breast Ultrasound, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Pediatric Ultrasound, Others. The journal publishes original research papers, papers on technical innovations, review articles, Ultrasound-pathologic correlation, pictorial essays, case reports, case series and letters to editors. The journal allows free access to its articles.

 

Audience

Our audience includes Radiologists, obstetric and gynecologists, ultrasound physicist, Sonographers, Nurse Practitioners, Researchers, Clinicians, other medical professionals and medical students. We also have a Technical Innovation section to highlight latest technology developments in Sonography.

 

Review process

AJS has a highly rigorous peer-review process that makes sure that sonography are scientifically accurate, relevant, novel and important. Authors disclose all conflicts, affiliations and financial associations such that the ultrasound content is not biased.

 

Editorial team

The editorial board comprises of a panel of international experts in Sonography from around the globe. Our editorial board members provide their expertise and guidance in shaping the content and direction of the journal.
