M.Eng Vs MS

Can someone please elaborate on whether M.Eng has any huge disadvantage over a MS for jobs. Since it is just a 1 year course, I know internships and stuff will be harder to get. But as I see it my expenses are lower and I can join the industry earlier as compared to a MS graduate. Also, from what I have read, the M.Eng programs are highly geared towards preparing the candidate for a job. Anyone else care to weigh in? I am an international student and any inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
