dodonizer Posted March 4, 2010 Share Posted March 4, 2010 Hello all, I'm not sure what to expect at this point, so let me share my concern. I've finished my online application for TU Delft,Netherland for MSc in Mech Eng before November 1st 2009 and I've sent the required hard copies and ensured they reached TU Delft before November 1st 2009. The reason I did this because I was trying to apply for scholarship and needed to know the early admission decision. The website says: "If you need a scholarship requiring an early notification, please apply before 1 November for the best chance of securing financial aid. Your hardcopy application documents must reach TU Delft before this date.The admission decision follows by mid-January at the latest." It is March 2010, and I have sent 2 separate emails to TU Delft international office in mid-February 2010 and early March 2010, and this is the same reply I received: "We have forwarded your e mail to the selection committee and we have requested them to answer you." At this point, I'm confused on what should I do as I need to answer offers from other universities.... any suggestions? Thanks... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pietjekanarie Posted March 4, 2010 Share Posted March 4, 2010 Call the department. The International Office covers the whole university, so they simply forward this and have no clue whatsoever. Apparently the department doesn't really do something with that forwarded email. If you call or mail the department, or email a professor you talked to before, you will have more chance I suppose. Those people know about the decisions and might be able to do more. Tell them that you have offers that need answers. Is this your first choice? This situation is pretty bad, I'm not surprised though. Administration and communication between departments at these universities is sometimes a problem.
