zcn Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I got my acceptance letter and aid package for the English lit program (yay!), and am strongly considering going. Anyone other future Aggies? Any English students, and if so, 1. are you going to the preview day on April 9th, and 2. what have you heard about the program?

You need to go to picnic day on April 17th if you can. Certainly visit the school during the welcome weekend, but you really need to get the whole crazy public drunkenness feel of Picnic day to truly appreciate UC Davis. http://picnicday.ucdavis.edu/ chaospaladin 1
Nightingalesing Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Hello! I just accepted my offer to attend the Comparative Literature program at UC Davis. If anyone else has decided to attend I would be delighted to talk with you about a very exciting 2010. All the best!
jose Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Hey People! I'm headed to Davis for an ma/phd in music composition. Congrats to all who are going! Anyone have any luck finding housing so far?
Nightingalesing Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Anyone have any luck finding housing so far? Hello! If I'm lucky, the lease I signed will get to California tomorrow and I will have housing all figured out! I managed to find a small, private apartment within a larger property so all of the utilities are included. Looking for a place was a little stressful but the Davis Wiki was an invaluable resource! Everything sounds equal (either good or sketchy) on Craigslist, but the community online seems to have done a fantastic job pointing out the despotic landlords from the diamonds in the rough. Congratulations on your acceptance and good luck!

I am applying to the Master's program for creative writing. This is a very stressful experience and I would like any and all information that you are willing to divulge. Congratulations and good luck! Who will you be working with, btw?
