conan33 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Hi there! I have applied for a PhD in atmospheric and oceanic sciences and am still waiting for responses from Scripps Instit. of Oceanography (Phys.Ocean.) and Gatech. Has anyone been contacted or interviewed by them?? Looking at Results Search, at this time last year many people was accepted or rejected from Scripps.
Viva Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I have not heard anything yet from SIO. I checked the SIO admissions website this weekend and it stated that applicants are notified of admission in late March. I hope we both hear some good news soon.
apogee Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Is anybody else waiting to hear from Stony Brook's Marine and Atmospheric PhD program? I saw one acceptance posted back in Feb, but I still haven't heard anything! Apparently all letters will be out early March though... Suppose if SIO haven't filed all their acceptances yet, there may yet be hope for new spaces to appear in other programs!

apogee Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Have you already been accepted from Scripps? No, I didn't apply there. Sorry, I can see how it might've looked like that from my post though! Good luck anyways!
