I saw that 4 people posted receiving rejection emails and someone posted that he or she got an acceptance phone call yesterday from Harris School.

So, I was expecting that I would either get an rejection or admission today but haven't got any yet.

Are there many people who applied to the PhD Program at Harris School and got no response yet? Or is it just me?

Should I think that I got rejected or on the wait-listed? I'm dying to know the result.

I'm in the same position. Saw those rejection/acceptance posts and expected to hear something today, but nothing yet. This waiting game is a killer! Did you see that one of the rejection posts said that they received 170 apps this year? Amazing. Best of luck to you!

Yeah, tough year to apply to Chicago. Apparently Chicago undergrad received around a 40% jump in applications, for no apparent reason. (http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-university-of-chicago-admissjan14,0,1037524.story) I've heard the business school was projecting to receive about 5000 applications, which would be about 1000 more than they received in 08-09, if it were true (don't know for certain yet). And Harris' PhD and MPP apps are likewise crazy.
