I've gotten into several programs in ECE (electrical and computer engineering) for PhD beginning Fall 2010 and am wondering where I should go.

With funding:

Carnegie Mellon (CMU)

Cornell

Georgia Tech

University of Pennsylvania (UPenn)

Without funding or not yet known:

Purdue

Texas

Wisconsin

I'm leaning towards CMU or Cornell since CMU apparently has the best program in Computing/CompSci/Engineering in the country (http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~remzi/rank.html) and I would be working in that kind of a lab despite the nominal ECE title. Plus, I have free tuition and stipend there.

Thanks for you advice!
