dodt2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) I received an email today from a school I am waiting for a acceptance / rejection from: Thank you again for your application. We are currently reviewing your application and scholarship information. It appears that we have only received the first page of your scholarship application. Would you be able to send us the additional pages along with the supporting materials ASAP? They had me fax my scholarship app for "security" reasons in lieu of email when I submitted it. Turns out they only got the first page of it and only discovered it now, even though I turned it in in early January. Decisions are going to start coming out in the next week or so. In the spirit of making myself crazy / reading too much in to every piece of correspondence, I am pondering what this means. Why are they only emailing me about this now? Does the fact that they are reviewing my scholarship application mean that I will be accepted? Would they be looking at my scholarship application otherwise? Does anyone know when admissions offices review scholarship apps in the admin process? Edited March 8, 2010 by dodt2010
fuzzylogician Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Try not to read too much into this. It means that they lost some of your paperwork and need it now to review your app.
anxiousapplicant Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I second FuzzyLogician's advice. Don't drive yourself crazy.
oldlady Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Seems to me that you are in the running. I don't think they would have requested the paperwork, otherwise, as they are likely drowning in paper.

Cinemadam Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Yeah it sounds like you are in the running. I received a similar call from the admissions office for my undergrad and I was accepted. Fingers crossed.
