mr.tamago
A possible mentor has unofficially notified me that I would be offered an admission to a Ph.D Program at a private university, and the department would try to get me a 25%-50% RA position. I am aware that 50% Research Assistantship means that you usually work 20hours/week for assigned jobs. My question is if this would also remit tuition and fees, which is around $20,000/semester.... Does it depend on a type of RA-ship you are getting or a school you are at? I was a little hesitant to ask the professor about this... and the school website does not offer me a helpful information. So, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. mr.tamago and BCHistory 1
zxcv
You will know soon enough for sure, but in every case I have heard of for PhD students, a 50% TA or RA comes with full tuition remission.
