Speech pathology job prospects in Canada

I am considering on applying to speech pathology programs in Canada and I was wondering if there is a good job outlook for speech pathology in Canada? I have read and spoken to some people that have said there is a lack of funding for these jobs. Would it be difficult for me to find a job if I were to pursue this field?
