Hi fellow future SLPs!

I am Canadian and am about to begin a Speech master's program in New York. I am, however, hoping to come back and practice in Canada after completing my master's degree.

Have any of you been in this situation, or do you know anyone who has been in this situation?

If so, I would really appreciate any insight into how I should go about transferring my American certification back to Canada.

Thanks so much in advance!

You just have to fill out the CASLPO form for internationally educated applicants. And make sure you research hours/course requirements because CASLPO requires some different things than ASHA like 20 hours of audiology vs 10, motor speech hours vs. articulation hours. feel free to PM me with any questions. I am currently attending a grad program in NY and plan to return to ontario when I'm done.
