I am graduating with my bachelor's in communication disorders this December. I am currently pursuing SLPA certification and my plan is to work as an SLPA until I get into graduate school.  I'm nervous that my experience will not be enough to stand out in a grad school application. I have plenty of experience working with children. I've worked at an elementary school, 2 years at a preschool,  and I volunteered at a pediatric therapy clinic, but I feel like I need more. I saw job postings to be an early intervention habilitation provider and I feel that it would look amazing on my application, but I am not sure how I would be able to fit this into my schedule if I also want to work as an SLPA.

Any advice? Which is better? Will my SLPA job be enough?

Thank you!!

P.S. My GPA isn't great (probably ending with 3.2, about 3.0 in major), which is why I want my experience to make up for it. I also have not taken the GRE yet, but obviously hoping to get high scores on that. Thank you, everyone!
