Not sure if any of you are reading the other SLP Masters board, but people are hearing left and right from other schools..I sure home our CA schools will start responding soon!!!

As for CSUF, Dr. Kitselman told me a few weeks ago that they will begin calling accepted candidates the beginning of April.

Got an acceptance email to SDSU this morning! Was really surprised (see two posts up where I assume rejection!) It's my top choice and I know it was crazy competitive this year. Kind of makes me wish I would have applied to other ''reach'' schools that I chickened (SFSU and LB) but I probably would have chosen SD anyway!

Anyone else get in? Anyone else accepting? I'm going to wait a couple weeks and see what else I hear just to make sure. I'm pleased as punch and feeling like I really lucked out. SUPER thankful that this came early too.

I know that these rankings should be taken with a HUGE grain of salt, but in the new US News & World Report list of SLP programs, SDSU jumped up to #25!

I am feeling very torn between SDSU and another school. Decisions, decisions...

congrats on your acceptances :)

Congratulations! I was accepted to SDSU as well :) I had my interview with SFSU yesterday and am waiting on a couple other schools but I am definitely considering San Diego.

Thanks all!

Congrats on getting your interview too, JoH! I know SF is also brutally competitive.

Where else did you apply/are considering?

I'm kind of waiting to see what San Jose has to say. I actually don't know how it is in comparison to San Diego, but I like the area better and I just might have a good deal on a place to live if I were to go there.

Any insight anyone has on either program is most welcome!

Thanks! I'm glad I had a chance to visit the campus and meet some of the faculty. Other than San Diego and SF-I applied to University of Washington- Core (and was rejected), Teachers College- Columbia University (still haven't heard), and Sacramento State (my undergraduate school). Good luck with San Jose!

Can anyone tell me any information they have on Cal State Northridge's undergrad program? In Communicative Disorders. They have an online program and I was wondering how that works? How difficult is it? Is it easier than a traditional program? Which do you think is better? Please help!

I don't know loads about Northridge other than what I got off the website and what I've heard through the grapevine. I applied to the on-campus program. It is a more medical based on campus. The online program is more expensive and you have to apply way in advance (I know people who have been accepted for Fall '13 - they may do rolling admissions). You are responsible for finding your own placements and supervision and it's probably geared towards working in schools. It's more expensive than the on-campus one, not surprisingly. I hear it is good - but I wouldn't do it unless I had no other options (like not being able to move). I need the resources and supervision and classroom learning. I did all my pre-reqs online and it was great, but I couldn't handle it for grad school.

So I heard from a friend the following on when acceptances are going out.

SFSU - this week or early next week. Apparently they have already decided but it is Spring break now....

SJSU - by April 1st - which is better than the 15th, which is what I was expecting!!

Has anyone heard anything about when we can expect to hear from CSU Fullerton?

What program did you use to complete the prerequisite classes for grad school?

What programs accept applications in the Spring? I know CSUF is one, but do you guys know of any others, doesn't have to be in California. Thanks!

Hey Joh, Have you heard back from Sacramento State?

Man, these CSUs REALLY make you wait. I've got four schools left to hear back from and they are all CA state schools. I feel super lucky I've at least heard from one (which was an acceptance thank god) but if I hadn't I'd be in complete agony!! It will be all over soon, guys!

I heard from CSULA on Monday with an acceptance letter. CSUN, where I'm currently at, told us we'll hear next week. I only applied to these 2 as closest to where I live and I can't move.

Good luck everyone.
