CSanta
I've been accepted to Pratt and Otis for MFA fine arts. I'm an abstract painter who is interested in theory but am a "maker" and value the formal qualitites of painting. I loved both of the programs, although they are very different. Otis in SMALL and intimate. I got along with the faculty, and sat in on a grad crit. Pratt's campus is beautiful, and the prgram is much larger, so there will be many more viewpoints and opportunities for me to get to know different artists. Any insight to either of these programs will be a great help- Thank you!
action516
I was also accepted to Otis, and would love to know more about it's reputation. I am based in the East Coast, so I don't know much about the LA art scene. Is Otis considered a good school?

mrnephilim
I'd also love to here people's thoughts on Otis. I live in the midwest so couldn't afford to visit. I meet a professor at a portfolio review and she seemed great. I was accepted and am not sure what to do about it.
