Experience w/ Emerson SLP online program?

Hello all!

I recently applied to Emerson College's online distance learning program. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this program and what their thoughts, opinions, etc.?

Also, if anyone has applied, do you remember how long it took for the program to get back to you with a decision? (Just wondering). Thank you so much in advance!:)

Hey Sarah! 

I recently just got my notification for it actually! (Around 3 days ago) I applied end of September and beginning October around October 2, my application was already turned in. I got an email on the 19th of November saying that I had gotten in! So far, the process has been nothing but smooth. I actually originally applied for May but they asked if I wanted to join the January class, to which I happily replied yes to because I would like to finish quicker. If you have any questions let me know! I'm hoping someone is in Austin from this program!!

Thanks for the heads up Elliott! I got an email confirmation from my admissions counselor that my application was complete on November 12th - so hopefully I hear something before Christmas!:)

I don't have any experience with Emerson myself, but if you check in the SLP forum (down near the bottom of the home screen, under Professional Programs) you'll find a bunch of people who have been discussing Emerson. It's a pretty lively forum, and there are a lot of helpful threads on all kinds of topics!
